Have you ever wished for a way to wash away the old and start with a clean slate?  Maybe it is a relationship, your career, education, etc.

Today I have done that with my blog.  I had posted a link to a generic resource for business marketing.  Unfortunately, it got my blog suspended.  Since I posted the link quite awhile back, I had no idea it was even a concern.

At first, I was a bit frustrated.  But, as I read through all of my old posts, I realized that it was an opportunity to wipe the slate clean and start fresh. See, over the past year that I have had my blog, I have shared many thoughts, resources, websites, etc.  But, as I sat here today, I realized that my life has not changed a bit, even though I was trying to help others.

In my personal life, right now, I have a desire to wipe the slate clean in other areas as well.  However, it is not as easy as deleting old blog posts.  And, honestly even my old blog posts have left a trail.  They may still pop up in searches, and my memories of the inspiration(s) behind those posts, remains.

I guess what I want to share with you here is this:  You can always wipe away what is on the slate.  But, what impressions are left on your heart will always be with you.  Remember that even though the slate may appear clean, there is always a residual somewhere.

In your relationships, family, career, education, business, etc. you can have a fresh start.  However, there will aways be “what was” lingering.  Embrace it, respect it, then move forward.  Learn from your previous experiences an make your future experiences all the more fantastic.  Because, in all honesty, what would your future look like if you had no past?

So,  with that being said… I am refreshed and renewed and moving forward.  I have a lot to share with you and I hope that you see the opportunity to move forward.
